If you and a guy friend were...?

Texting dirty things to each other (over a dare) and then he got pretty turned on due to what you were saying...(following in you feeling very uncomfortable), and the next day he seems to hint that he may like you as more than a friend...but you're pretty much positive it's only because the sexual things you were saying temporarily caused him to see you in another light and he may just be confused...well my question is: Is this natural for a guy to think he likes a girl just due to something like this?
