Should we annihilate half the population of Earth?
I'm not trying to be racist, a Nazi, or whatever. With oil running out, global warming on the rise, food and fresh water shortages on the horizon, new antibiotic resistant bacteria coming out, a global financial crisis looming, a lack of a cure for AIDS, HIV, or Cancer, and the population growing to a point where Earth cannot support it, wouldn't everything be easier if there were half as many people on Earth? I mean if we didn't half to spend billions in foreign aid, or struggle to feed populations of poor, 3rd world countries, the whole world would be better don't you think. I know you think that doing this would destroy the human race, but I think the opposite. If we were to do this, halve the population every couple thousand of years, the population wouldn't go out of control, we could maintain life on this planet, and support future generations of humans better. Right now it doesn't seem like things are going to get any better, so why not solve quite a few of the problems? What do you think?
