---- MacBook Pro help? ------?

Alright, so my none of my "F" keys are working except the dashboard one. I can't open up the shutdown window, and have to hold the power button in order to shut it down. Whenever I open system preferences, it will not let anything open, it'll just freeze and I have to force quit it. Any ideas how I can fix this??
