I recently restored my windows xp to factory settings and now i can't find my wireless network?

So last night I put in my reinstallation cd to restore my computer and followed the steps and everything. well now my computer is back to the way it was when i bought it, i guess, but now i have no clue how to connect back up to my wireless internet. when i click on "connect to a network" all it says is "windows cannot find any additional networks". Ive turned on and off my wireless switch and nothing helps, even restared and shutdown my comp several times. I've looked at some solutions and they say to check in Device Manager and update the software of all the drivers that have exclamation points, but when i try to update them it says it didn't find a update. I have a Dell Inspiron with Windows Vista Home Premium 32BIT SP1 if you need that info. Help me connect wirelessly again!
