Why is God different to Hitler?

Hitler's atrocities are child's play compared to the atrocities God did. God is probably the biggest mass murderer in recorded history, the Bible is full of his work, annihilating whole cities of men, woman and children. He ordered the raping of virgin girls. He ordered more people to death than Hitler ever could have imagined. So why then is God held as the Almighty and Hitler branded as pure evil? Which I may add according to Christians only Satan is evil yet no where in the Bible does it mention of Satan killing anyone or ordering anyone else to kill. Would you not say then that God IS the evil one?
